Southwest Scotland RnR is a charitable organisation dedicated to conveying the thanks of the people of South West Scotland, to the members of our Armed Forces, who have had to operate in conditions beyond our ken.
They extend a warm Scottish welcome, and provide a well deserved holiday based around outdoor pursuits in the Dumfries and Galloway area for personnel returning from an operational tour and to the wounded injured in earlier tours.
Their ethos is one in which they want to leave the servicemen and women, who holiday with them, with the certain knowledge that their commitment and sacrifice is appreciated by local men and women in our corner of Scotland.
All this takes a large amount of funding and Morag our Fundraising Manager in Dumfries and Galloway is contacting businesses in the area for their support, many of these local people are helping by joining Countryside Directory.
